I am running about 175w peak on my Steppir vertical tonight.

Radio : Yaesu FT-897, 50W peak, PSK-31, ZLP Interface from GB. Backup : Kenwood TS-820S
Amp : Ameritron AL-811 Tuner : MFJ Versatuner III and a LDG AT-200 Pro Software : HRD + DM780 v1.1 Beta Antenna : Windom OCF 40, a loaded 80m dipole and a Steppir Vertical
Computer : Homebrew Fry’s Special, P4 with 2 gigs of RAM.
Sound : Turtle Beach “Roadie” with USB interface.
Other : IMD Meter by KK7UQ
Operator : Created 1956, licensed 2006
Occupation : Broadcast Engineer. SBE (CSRE+CBNT) certified.

It gives a pretty good VSWR without a tuner, which is nice.
I am using the PSKmeter to run the amp and keep the IMD low.
The amount you can run without IMD varies from band to band with this amp.
Your IMD looks OK. If you want to give me an idle signal I will give you the number.
Meing a new HAM I have mostly done PSK31. It is a good mode.
A buddy and I want to do MFSK tomorrow morning to Texas.
I got my Technician license 6/31/06.

I find CW difficult, I learned it the wrong way in Boy Scouts.
The band is too noisey for me to give you an accurate IMD figure.

It is so far down inthe noise I cannot tell if you have any IMD.
Good decode though.
