Hands-On HAM Radio

Announcing a joint venture of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and amateur radio operators who live in and around Ann Arbor and southeastern Michigan.

  • establish a permanent amateur radio station at the Museum,
  • develop hands-on displays that teach Museum guests about radio and electronics, and
  • sponsor activities that are both fun and educational, including transmitter hunts, license classes and construction projects.
